Mesmereyes Me - June Look of the Month

The Face:
Primer, Concealer & Your Favourite Motives by Loren Ridinger Foundation.

The Eyes:
There are many colour combinations you can use to create this beautiful look. Initially use the Eyeshadow Brush for all base colour applications. Apply colour over the entire lid area and use the Eye Crease Brush for all contour and outer corner eye applications. The contour area is along the crease of the eye. Use the Eyeliner Brush for lining the eye and the Eye Definer Brush for adding colour under the eye.

Look 1: Antique Lace base, Aluminium contour and outer corner, Dark Denim eyeliner and Dark Denim and Aluminium under eye.

Look 2: Cotton Candy base, Eggplant contour and Dark Denim under eyeliner.

Look 3: Cotton Candy base, Moonlight Mauve contour and Dark Denim under eyeliner.

Look 4: Cotton Candy base, Moonlight Mauve contour, Eggplant outer corner, eyeliner and under eye.

Look 5: Antique Lace base, Eggplant contour, Dark Denim eyeliner and Eggplant under eye.

The Cheeks: Lightly dip the Cheek Brush into the Loose Mineral Powder Blush and apply the colour starting on the apple of your cheek, then blend along the top of the cheekbone.

For Lips: Begin by using the Anti-Aging Lipliner in Aloha and fill in the entire lip area and top with the Crystalline Lip Shine or the Raspberry Kiss Lip Gel for a rich look.

Easter Pink, Sea Foam and Thistle Eye Shadows
Eye Liner - Black Mascara – Nouveau Riche Black
OR For a softer look,
Eye Liner – Vintage, Mascara – Black Plum
The Cheeks:
Custom Mineral Formula – 3 ½ Coral Cashmere,
1 Pink Chiffon, ½ Bronze Glow
OR Cream – Charm
For Lips:
Lip Liner – Orchid,
Lip Gel – Pink Mimosa,
OR Lip Plumper – Hope

How to Create ~ the Princess look
Skin After preparing you face with Vitashield Cleanser, pH Normalizer and Moisturizer Treatment; prime the skin using the Motives Primer, apply using a triangle sponge. Then using the Mineral Brush, apply your Custom Mineral Powder or using the foundation brush, apply your Custom Liquid Foundation.

Eyes To create this eye, use the eye shadow brush to apply Sea Foam to the entire lid area, lash line to brows. Then using the crease brush, apply Thistle along the crease line, blending into the area above the crease line. Then take the eye definer brush and using Easter Pink, line the entire lower lash line. Using the eye liner pencil, black for a stronger look, Vintage for a softer look, create a thin line along the upper lash line close to the eye lashes. You can soften the look even further by smudging the eye liner with cotton bud. Then apply 1 to 2 coats of Nouveau Riche Mascara in black or Black Plum Mascara for the softer look.

Cheeks Using a triangle sponge apply the cream blush, Charm along the cheek bone, then blend on to the apples of the check and into the hollow of the cheek. To soften the colour and add a bit of shimmer, using the blender brush lightly dust the eye shadow, Easter Pink along the cheek bone. OR Lightly dip the cheek brush into your custom mineral powder blush, apply the colour, starting on the apple of your cheek, then blend along the top of the cheek bone.

Lips With this look you have several options for your lips. Start with the lip liner, Orchid either line just the outer edge of your lips, or fill in the entire lip area. Then use, Hope Lip Plumper for a high gloss shine. OR use the lip gel, Pink Mimosa for a soft shine.

The Customary Introduction Post

Hello! Welcome to Christie's Motives. *grin*

My name is Christie McPartland and I'm the MBIC (Main Babe In Charge) of Christie's Motives, a business dedicated to making women look great and feel good about themselves, not only on their special day (whatever that may be), but every day.

Whether we're sisters, girlfriends, mothers or wives, we women so often put everyone else's needs and wants ahead of our own. We're selfless creatures that way. However, when we constantly put everyone else ahead of ourselves, we run into trouble.

Fact of the matter is, it's okay to put ourselves first sometimes. Really! In fact, it's more than okay. It's essential and we should do it a lot more than we realise.

When we feel good, our contentment and "joie de vivre" is contagious. Just by being around, we make others feel good. And when others feel good, there's no saying what can happen or be achieved. The world is our oyster and it's my personal mission to make everyone I come in contact with look gorgeous and feel good about themselves, and in turn, have them make others feel good too.

I firmly believe that if we have something of value to offer the world, be it money, talent or experience, we should spread it around so everyone benefits. Christie's Motives is me sharing my talents and passion with you! *smile*
